School Swimming and Water Safety Program

Crystal Creek Public School will be participating in the valuable NSW Department of Education, School Swimming and Water Safety program during Term 3, Week 2 (29th July - 2nd August, 2024).

This program offers a fantastic opportunity for your child to develop their swimming skills and water confidence in a safe and supervised environment.

All students are expected to participate in the swimming scheme as regular classroom programs will not be running, and there will only be minimal supervision at school during the swimming times. If you do not want your child to participate for any reason, please contact Mr Davis at school.

Program Details: Time: 11:00 am - 12:30 pm daily

Location: Tweed Regional Aquatic Centre - Murwillumbah (6-8 Tumbulgum Road, Murwillumbah NSW 2484)

Transportation: Bus, departing Crystal Creek School at 10:30 am and returning at approximately 1:00 pm.

What students need to bring: Swimsuit worn under school uniform Towel Goggles Underwear for changing after swimming Closed-in shoes for school (students can bring thongs for the pool)

Cost: $46 per child. This covers bus transportation and pool entry. The Department of Education covers the cost of lessons and instructors.
