NAIDOC

We are excited to be celebrating NAIDOC Day as a school community! This special day recognises and honours the history, culture, and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

To show our respect and unity, all students are invited to wear the colours of the Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander flags—black, red, yellow, green, blue and white.

Throughout the day, students will participate in a range of engaging NAIDOC-themed activities to deepen their understanding and appreciation of First Nations culture.

We are also thrilled to welcome Milkiri, who will be with us for the entire day. Milkiri will lead sessions with each class (approximately one hour each), sharing cultural knowledge and bringing along traditional artefacts such as the didgeridoo and boomerang for students to explore.

We look forward to a meaningful and respectful day of learning, celebration, and cultural connection.
